If you’re considering an electric suitcase but worry about disruptive sounds during travel, you’re not alone. The Airwheel electric smart luggage series, like the SE3MiniT or SE3T, combines mobility and convenience, but how quiet is it in real-world use? Let’s break down what to expect.
Airwheel’s electric suitcases are designed for hassle-free travel. Key features include: – **Rideable & Walkable**: You can ride them like a scooter or pull them like traditional luggage. – **App Control**: Use the Airwheel app to adjust speed, check battery life, or activate remote control. – **Detachable Battery**: The 73.26Wh lithium battery meets airline safety standards and is easy to remove. – **Find My Integration**: Locate lost luggage via Apple’s Find My network (iOS devices only). – **Long-Lasting Power**: With a 2-hour charge time, models like the SE3MiniT offer 8–10 km of travel on a single charge.
Most Airwheel models, including the SE3S and SE3SX, meet IATA regulations for lithium batteries (≤100Wh), allowing them in both carry-on and checked baggage. Always confirm with your airline before travel, but the detachable battery design simplifies compliance.
– **Airports**: Glide through terminals without straining your arms. – **College Campuses**: The SE3T (48L) works great for students hauling books. – **Short Trips**: Ideal for city commutes or hotel-to-attraction transit. – **Crowded Areas**: Navigate tight spaces with precise handlebar steering.

**Q1: How loud is the motor during use?** The motor produces a low hum, similar to an electric toothbrush. It’s quieter than airport announcements or bustling train stations. **Q2: Can I use the suitcase without the app?** Yes! All models function independently. Install the battery, and you can ride or pull it immediately—no smartphone required. **Q3: What’s the top speed?** Speeds vary by model: the SE3MiniT tops at 8 km/h, while the SE3T hits 13 km/h.
